On July 25th 2001, Alex Jones says Bin Laden will be blamed for the coming attack!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jJov-FXyj4I
On July 25th 2001, Alex Jones talked about a coming false flag terror attack where Bin Laden would be blamed! Alex doesn't give out these warnings lightly, and now he is starting to say it again in 2011!! Now that the mythical Bin Laden has been killed (for the 9th and final time lol), there will be an all out retaliation from Al Qaeda (oops, I meant Al CIAeda!) in the form of a false flag terror attack!
The world needs to wake up, and realize who the real terrorists are!!! Al Qaeda started as the Mujahideen which is a known CIA creation! It was also on record (multiple sources) that Anwar al-Awlaki dinned at the Pentagon just months after 911!!! The Pentagon never denied it, but instead threatened to punish the person behind the leaking of that information!!! 27 jul 2011, 09:02 , Respect -

General of all American Intelligence: 911 was a fraud!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=daNr_TrBw6E
Major General Albert "Bert" N. Stubblebine III, head of all intelligence says:
Pentagon NOT hit by a plane
WTC 7 brought down by explosives
Media in America is controlled
A terrible pilot hits pentagon accounting office holding records of missing 3 trillion in oil for money scheme & missing 2.3 trillion in DOD expenses
Pentagon debris a single 3 foot engine Proven not related to 757
FBI took all recordings & refuses to show
The FCC had all records on criminals like Paulson, Geithner, Ruben, Summers & others engaging in that illegal activity. But all the records of those illegal trades were destroyed when WTC 7 was brought down by thermite on 9/11!
911 was a public snuff film used to shock the public and enact the end of the Bill of Rights & invasion of oil bearing countries, & make money for private companies like Halliburton, (stock from 10 to 50 a share)!
By destroying the WTC, they were able to cover up theft of gold bullion & destroy illegal financial transaction records performed just prior to the attacks
Silverstein spends 140 million to make 7 billion almost over night; Silverstein said it was demolished by explosives, (pull it)
It reminds me of CIA man Byrd, the owner of TX School Book Depository, who turned a 2.5 million insider purchase into 26 million dollars thanks to JFK assassination! 28 jul 2011, 17:07 , Respect -

Osama died in 2001: MSNBC hit piece unwittingly reveals corroboration for Dr. Steve R. Pieczenik’s assertion
An MSNBC hit piece that attempts to debunk Dr. Steve R. Pieczenik’s assertion that Osama Bin Laden died from Marfan syndrome in 2001 unwittingly provides corroboration from a top Cornell doctor who first made similar statements in an interview with Salon magazine two months after 9/11.
Pieczenik, a State Department official in three different administrations and an award-winning Harvard Medical School luminary, told The Alex Jones Show last week http://fwd4.me/01Np that the alleged raid on Bin Laden’s compound was a fable because Osama had already been dead for the best part of a decade. Pieczenik originally appeared on the show back in April 2002 when he asserted that Bin Laden had been “dead for months,” and that the government was waiting for the most politically expedient time to roll out his corpse.
Alex Jones
Pieczenik said that Osama Bin Laden died in 2001, “Not because special forces had killed him, but because as a physician I had known that the CIA physicians had treated him and it was on the intelligence roster that he had marfan syndrome,” adding that the US government knew Bin Laden was dead before they invaded Afghanistan.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A8lzoBZQRFE
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pDkEHkwcQfk
According to French intelligence reports, CIA agents visited Bin Laden at the American Hospital in Dubai in July 2001, two months before 9/11. http://fwd4.me/01Nq
It was also widely acknowledged at the time that Bin Laden needed a kidney dialysis machine because of renal health problems. Indeed, CBS News reported that Bin Laden was having kidney dialysis treatment the night before 9/11. http://fwd4.me/01Nr No dialysis machine was found in the alleged compound in Pakistan, which prompted the corporate media to backtrack and report that that he actually had kidney stones, http://fwd4.me/01Nt not kidney disease, despite the fact that the CIA admitted back in 2008 http://fwd4.me/01Ns that Bin Laden had suffered from kidney failure.
Other accounts from 2000-2001 claimed that Osama was also suffering from Hepatitis C and had only two more years to live. Despite all these health problems, on Saturday the White House released video footage of Bin Laden which it claimed was filmed in fall 2010, although the clips show a younger and healthier looking Osama compared with video footage from 2001. http://fwd4.me/01Nw
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5nZdd6zsRk4
Marfan syndrome is a degenerative genetic disease for which there is no permanent cure. The illness severely shortens the life span of the sufferer and can cause instant death from the sudden rupture of the aorta.
“Back then, after the 9/11 terror attacks, medical experts weighed in on bin Laden’s tall, frame, lanky limbs and long face, all classic physical symptoms of Marfan syndrome,” states the MSNBC report. http://fwd4.me/01O7
The article then quotes Dr. Richard Devereux, a clinician who treats patients with the illness at the Weill Cornell Medical Center in New York. In a November 9, 2001 interview with Salon magazine http://fwd4.me/01OA , Devereux said of Bin Laden, “He is Marfanoid. He seems to have long fingers and long arms. His head appears to be elongated and his face narrow … It’s certainly conceivable that he has the Marfan syndrome and could be evaluated for it.”
After MSNBC attempted to speak to the doctor again on the topic in light of Bin Laden’s alleged assassination, they were told by a hospital spokesman that Devereux “doesn’t want to talk about bin Laden now.”
Despite MSNBC’s best efforts to debunk Pieczenik’s assertion that Bin Laden died from Marfan syndrome in 2001 – they go on to quote another doctor who claims that Bin Laden never had the illness – Pieczenik’s source for the information comes directly from intelligence files that he saw over nine years ago confirming that the terror leader was dead. This means that the entire narrative of Bin Laden’s alleged assassination put out by the Obama administration is an act of mass public deception. Obama has benefited enormously from cultivating a ‘tough guy’ image out of the fabled raid, enjoying a 13 point approval rating bounce according to an Associated Press poll. http://fwd4.me/01OB
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fjUBiVFDrmo
Pieczenik’s credibility is beyond reproach ( http://fwd4.me/01OC bio). As well as serving under five US presidents, he wrote the book on psychological warfare and counter terrorism for the State Department, while also developing foundational strategies for hostage rescue that were later employed around the world. He also won two prestigious Harry C. Solomon Awards while studying at Harvard Medical School.
Pieczenik’s record underscores the fact that he is one of the most deeply connected men in intelligence circles over the past three decades plus. He was a top spymaster involved in all manner of black-ops, undercover missions and classified work.
Pieczenik’s assertion that Bin Laden has been dead for years is also backed up by a myriad of other intelligence professionals and heads of state http://fwd4.me/01OD , including Former CIA officer and hugely respected intelligence & foreign policy expert Robert Baer, as well as former FBI counter-terror head Dale Watson, who have all gone on the record to state that Osama was dead long before the raid on his alleged Pakistani compound earlier this month.

Former News of The World Editor Turns Himself into Police
After the British tabloid shut down yesterday amidst allegations of phone hacking, Andy Coulson was arrested Friday morning, according to BBC News. The arrest was announced Thursday afternoon and then Coulson turned himself into authorities at 10:30 AM local time. Coulson is a former News of the World editor and has also worked as chief media aide to Prime Minister David Cameron. Cameron announced Friday that two separate inquires would be made into the allegations, and "no stone would be left unturned," reports The New York Times. Along with the phone hacking charges, Coulson is being investigated on charges of corruption. A police report filed this morning gave the operation names and details for the two separate investigations:
The Operation Weeting team is conducting the new investigation into phone hacking.
Operation Elveden is the investigation into allegations of inappropriate payments to police. This investigation is being supervised by the IPCC.
Coulson has denied any knowledge of the phone hacking while he was an editor with the paper.

Toxic Tabloid: Murdoch's News of the World chokes over phone hacks
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NXBW-B0RbU4
The former Editor of Britain's 'News of the World' tabloid has been arrested over the phone-hacking scandal. Andy Coulson went on to be the Prime Minister's press spokesman, but worked at the paper when it's alleged to have intercepted phone calls from murder victims and dead soldiers' families. The 168-year-old paper will print its last edition on Sunday. The tabloid's being axed by Rupert Murdoch following the increasingly damaging allegations. A furious reaction gathered pace this week when it emerged the paper may have accessed the voicemail of missing teenager Milly Dowler, who was later found murdered.
It's thought some of her parents' desperate messages were wiped, possibly giving false hope that she was still alive. Media analyst Phil Rees told RT that the scandal is likely to sound the death knell over politicians cosying up to Murdoch's newspapers, but says the mogul's empire will still survive.

Now US turns on Rupert Murdoch as FBI probes '9/11 hacking'
The Scotsman
By Tom Peterkin
The FBI has opened an investigation into allegations that News Corporation sought to hack into the phones of 11 September victims.
The news came as American politicians called for a US investigation to be mounted into the phone-hacking scandal.
The FBI's New York office last night confirmed the investigation was under way. There has been no response from News Corp.
A key member of Congress's investigations committee joined the clamour for a US-based inquiry into the allegations that News Corp staff broke American anti-bribery laws or violated the privacy of 9/11 victims.
Bruce Baley, the vice-chairman of the investigations and oversight committee, said that Congress had "important oversight responsibilities" to get "to the bottom of this evolving scandal".
The fall-out from the controversy crossed the Atlantic with a vengeance as Congressman Baley suggested that News Corp may have engaged in "political espionage or personal espionage".
Mr Baley was speaking after other US lawmakers urged federal officials to find out if News Corp broke a law banning bribes to foreign officials. The call was made in response to accusations that News of the World journalists paid cash to police officers.
The US Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) prohibits payments intended to influence any act or decision of a foreign official. Democratic senators Barbara Boxer, Jay Rockefeller and Frank Lautenberg on Wednesday asked Attorney General Eric Holder and Securities and Exchange Commission Chairman Mary Schapiro to look into potential FCPA violations.
"The reported allegations against News Corp are very serious and indicate potentially thousands of victims and a pattern of illegal activity. It is important to ensure that no US laws were broken and no US citizens were victimised," Mr Rockefeller and Mr Boxer wrote in a letter sent to the Attorney General and the Securities and Exchange Commission.
Mr Lautenberg claimed that, as a US-based company, News Corp and its employees are subject to the anti-bribery provisions of the FCPA.
He said: "The limited information already reported in this case raises serious questions about the legality of the conduct of News Corporation and its subsidiaries under the FCPA."

Ex-Murdoch aide Rebekah Brooks arrested in hacking
By JILL LAWLESS
LONDON (AP) - Rebekah Brooks, Rupert Murdoch's former British newspaper chief, was arrested Sunday on suspicion of phone hacking and bribing police, only 48 hours before both of them were to be grilled by U.K. lawmakers investigating widespread lawbreaking at a Murdoch tabloid.
The arrest of the 43-year-old Brooks, often described as a surrogate daughter to the 80-year-old Murdoch, brings the British police investigations into the media baron's inner circle for the first time. It also raises the possibility that his old friend Les Hinton, who resigned Friday as publisher of The Wall Street Journal, or Murdoch's 38-year-old son and heir apparent, James, could be next.
Brooks' detention also moves the police inquiry closer to the heart of British political power. Brooks is the ultimate social and political insider, who dined at Christmas with Prime Minister David Cameron and counts numerous celebrities and senior politicians among her friends.
Until Friday, she was the defiant chief executive of News International, Murdoch's British newspaper arm, whose News of the World tabloid stands accused of hacking into the phones of celebrities, politicians, other journalists and even murder victims. In the tumultuous last two weeks, she had kept her job even as Murdoch shut down the 168-year-old tabloid and tossed 200 other journalists out of work.
On Sunday she showed up for a prearranged meeting with London police investigating the hacking and was arrested. She was being questioned on suspicion of conspiring to intercept communications — phone hacking — and on suspicion of corruption, which relates to bribing police for information.
Brooks' spokesman, David Wilson, said police contacted her Friday to arrange a meeting and she "voluntarily attended a London police station to assist with their ongoing investigation." He claimed that Brooks did not know she was going to be arrested.
The arrest threw Brooks' appearance at Tuesday's parliamentary hearing into doubt.
"Obviously this complicates matter greatly," Wilson said. "Her legal team will have to have discussions with the committee to see whether it would still be appropriate for her to attend. "
Lawmaker Adrian Sanders said if Brooks did not appear, "that is not going to go down very well with my fellow committee members."
The arrest was the latest blow for Murdoch, the once all-powerful figure courted by British politicians of all stripes. Now Murdoch is struggling to tame a scandal that has already destroyed his muckraking tabloid News of the World, cost the jobs of Brooks and Hinton and sunk the media baron's dream of taking full control of a lucrative satellite broadcaster, British Sky Broadcasting.
"(Murdoch) needs to come absolutely clean about what he knew, about what his senior executives knew, and why this culture of industrial-scale corruption — so it is alleged — appeared to have grown up without anyone higher up in the food chain taking any real responsibility for it," Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg said Sunday.
Even more senior figures could face arrest, including James Murdoch, chairman of BSkyB and chief executive of his father's European and Asian operations. James Murdoch did not directly oversee the News of the World, but he approved payments to some of the paper's most prominent hacking victims, including 700,000 pounds ($1.1 million) to Professional Footballers' Association chief Gordon Taylor.
James Murdoch said last week that he "did not have a complete picture" when he approved the payouts.
Britain's bribery law gives authorities the power to prosecute corporate chiefs for failing to prevent bribery, something that had previously been difficult, but the bar for proof is high.
Chandrashekhar Krishnan, executive director of Transparency International UK, said British prosecutors seeking to prove that bribes that were approved at a high level would have to uncover strong evidence such as memos or minutes of a meeting.
"That usually proves to be very, very difficult," he said
James Murdoch's ties to the hacking scandal might bolster the position of his 42-year-old sister, Elisabeth Murdoch, who was not with News Corp. during much of the period in question. The Independent newspaper quoted unnamed News Corp. insiders as saying Rupert Murdoch is eager to get Elisabeth on the News Corp. board.
Hinton, too, could face questioning over wrongdoing at the News of the World during his 12 years as executive chairman of News International. That could be complicated by the fact that he is an American citizen living in the U.S., so British authorities would have to seek extradition if he refused to come willingly.
Brooks stepped down Friday as head of Murdoch's British newspapers, saying she was going to "concentrate on correcting the distortions and rebutting the allegations about my record."
She was editor of the now-defunct News of the World between 2000 and 2003, when some of the phone hacking took place, but has always said she did not know it was going on, a claim greeted with skepticism by many who worked there.
At an appearance before U.K. lawmakers in 2003, Brooks admitted that News International had paid police for information. That admission of possible illegal activity went largely unchallenged at the time and lawmakers are keen to ask her about it again.
Police have already arrested nine other people, including several former News of the World reporters and editors, over allegations of hacking and bribery. Those include Andy Coulson, a former News of the World editor who became Cameron's communications chief before resigning in January. No one has yet been charged.
Some Murdoch critics were suspicious of the timing of Brooks' arrest, which may draw attention away from uncomfortable questions about police actions.
"The timing stinks," said Mark Lewis, lawyer for the family of Milly Dowler, the murdered 13-year-old whose phone was hacked by News of the World journalists in 2002.
Cameron's Conservative-led government and the London police also are facing increasing questions about their close relationship with Murdoch's media empire.
Cameron has held 26 meetings with Murdoch executives since he was elected in May 2010 and invited several to his country retreat.
London police are under pressure to explain why their original hacking investigation several years ago failed to find enough evidence to prosecute anyone other than News of the World royal reporter Clive Goodman and private investigator Glenn Mulcaire. Detectives reopened the investigation earlier this year and now say they have the names of 3,700 potential victims.
Records show that senior officers — including Paul Stephenson, chief of London's Metropolitan Police — have had numerous meals and meetings with News International executives in the past few years. The police force also hired Neil Wallis, a former News of the World executive editor arrested last week in the scandal, as a part-time PR consultant for a year until September 2010.
Tuesday's televised public inquisition by a parliamentary committee is one both Murdochs fought to avoid, but later reluctantly agreed to attend.
Politicians want answers about the scale of criminality at the News of the World, while the Murdochs wan to avoid incriminating themselves or doing more harm to their business. They will have to walk a fine line: misleading Parliament is a crime.
Murdoch is eager to stop the crisis from spreading to the United States, where many of his most lucrative assets — including the Fox TV network, 20th Century Fox film studio, The Wall Street Journal and the New York Post — are based.
The FBI has already opened an inquiry into whether 9/11 victims or their families were also hacking targets of News Corp. journalists.
On Sunday, Murdoch took out full page ads in British newspapers promising that News Corp. would make amends for the phone hacking scandal. The ad, titled "Putting right what's gone wrong," said News Corp. would assist the British police investigations into phone hacking and police bribery and vowed there would be "be no place to hide" for wrongdoers.
"It may take some time for us to rebuild trust and confidence, but we are determined to live up to the expectations of our readers, colleagues and partners," the ad said.
That follows a full-page Murdoch ad in Saturday's British papers declaring, "We are sorry."
But Murdoch's critics say that is not enough. Labour Party leader Ed Miliband said Sunday that Murdoch has "too much power" in Britain and his share of media ownership should be reduced. Murdoch still owns three national British newspapers — The Sun, The Times and The Sunday Times — and a 39-percent share of BSkyB.
"We've got to look at the situation whereby one person can own more than 20 percent of the newspaper market, the Sky platform and Sky News," Miliband told The Observer newspaper.
"I think it's unhealthy because that amount of power in one person's hands has clearly led to abuses of power within his organization," Miliband said.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T4l79ES2yLg
Media mogul Rupert Murdoch has played a significant role in the elections of three U.S. presidents, as well as some of the events that have happened during their administrations including the 9/11 terrorist attacks, the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, and the economic meltdown, says Gordon Duff, senior editor and writer for Veterans Today.
“Murdoch is a close associate of a significant criminal conspiracy of industrialists, bankers and others. He is the front man for them… the person who gives them control of governments through bribery and blackmail,” Duff told Press TV’s U.S. Desk on Thursday.
“We have three presidents of the United States who have essentially been appointed to office and controlled entirely by Rupert Murdoch and the things that happened during their administrations,” he added.

Rupert Murdoch is rapidly losing allies on both sides of the Atlantic, with his media empire under pressure from all sides. Journalist Afshin Rattansi believes Murdoch still has some "ammunition" to battle his enemies. "[Murdoch] basically had newspapers so that he could manipulate monopoly concerns over his broadcast interests which actually did make money unlike the newspapers. Newspapers are just tools of war,"
Rattansi said. "It is interesting that he owns these newspapers and they always say Rupert Murdoch loves newspapers." "He has lots of enemies out there," Rattansi added. "He probably has lots of ammunition to hurl back at them, thanks to all those muckraking journalists who spent their time looking at sex scandals." Rattansi admitted that Murdoch still has a lot of friends, but for him it seems like "some MPs find it unbelievable that he has the right to own any form of media in this country." 25 sep 2011, 21:22 , Respect -

Who is Rupert Murdoch?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kEPD0TtJ61s
Media mogul Rupert Murdoch has played a significant role in the elections of three U.S. presidents, as well as some of the events that have happened during their administrations including the 9/11 terrorist attacks, the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, and the economic meltdown, says Gordon Duff, senior editor and writer for Veterans Today.
"Murdoch is a close associate of a significant criminal conspiracy of industrialists, bankers and others. He is the front man for them... the person who gives them control of governments through bribery and blackmail," Duff told Press TV's U.S. Desk on Thursday.
Who is Rupert Murdoch?
In recent years, Australian-born billionaire Rupert Murdoch has used the U.S. government's increasingly lax media regulations to consolidate his hold over the media and wider political debate in America. Consider Murdoch's empire: According to Businessweek, "his satellites deliver TV programs in five continents, all but dominating Britain, Italy, and wide swaths of Asia and the Middle East. He publishes 175 newspapers, including the New York Post and The Times of London. In the U.S., he owns the Twentieth Century Fox Studio, Fox Network, and 35 TV stations that reach more than 40% of the country...His cable channels include fast-growing Fox News, and 19 regional sports channels. In all, as many as one in five American homes at any given time will be tuned into a show News Corp. either produced or delivered."
But who is the real Rupert Murdoch? As this report shows, he is a far-right partisan who has used his empire explicitly to pull American political debate to the right. He is also an enabler of the oppressive tactics employed by dictatorial regimes, and a man who admits to having hidden money in tax havens. In short, there more to Rupert Murdoch than meets the eye.
In 2003, Rupert Murdoch told a congressional panel that his use of "political influence in our newspapers or television" is "nonsense." But a close look at the record shows Murdoch has imparted his far-right agenda throughout his media empire.
MURDOCH THE WAR MONGER:
Just after the Iraq invasion, the New York Times reported, "The war has illuminated anew the exceptional power in the hands of Murdoch, 72, the chairman of News Corp… In the last several months, the editorial policies of almost all his English-language news organizations have hewn very closely to Murdoch's own stridently hawkish political views, making his voice among the loudest in the Anglophone world in the international debate over the American-led war with Iraq." The Guardian reported before the war Murdoch gave "his full backing to war, praising George Bush as acting 'morally' and 'correctly' and describing Tony Blair as 'full of guts'" for his support of the war. Murdoch said just before the war, "We can't back down now – I think Bush is acting very morally, very correctly." [New York Times, 4/9/03; Guardian, 2/12/03]
MURDOCH THE NEOCONSERVATIVE:
Murdoch owns the Weekly Standard, the neoconservative journal that employed key figures who pushed for war in Iraq. As the American Journalism Review noted, the circulation of Murdoch's Weekly Standard "hovers at only around 65,000. But its voice is much louder than those numbers suggest." Editor Bill Kristol "is particularly adept at steering Washington policy debates by inserting himself and his views into the discussion." In the early weeks of the War on Terror, Kristol "shepherded a letter to President Bush, signed by 40 D.c= opinion-makers, urging a wider military engagement." [Source: AJR, 12/01]
MURDOCH THE OIL IMPERIALIST:
Murdoch has acknowledged his major rationale for supporting the Iraq invasion: oil. While both American and British politicians strenuously deny the significance of oil in the war, the Guardian of London notes, "Murdoch wasn't so reticent. He believes that deposing the Iraqi leader would lead to cheaper oil." Murdoch said before the war, "The greatest thing to come out of this for the world economy...would be $20 a barrel for oil. That's bigger than any tax cut in any country." He buttressed this statement when he later said, "Once [Iraq] is behind us, the whole world will benefit from cheaper oil which will be a bigger stimulus than anything else." [Guardian, 2/17/03]
MURDOCH THE INTIMIDATOR:
According to Agence France-Press, "Rupert Murdoch's Fox News Channel threatened to sue the makers of 'The Simpsons' over a parody of the channel's right-wing political stance…In an interview this week with National Public Radio, Matt Groening recalled how the news channel had considered legal action, despite the fact that 'The Simpsons' is broadcast on sister network, Fox Entertainment. According to Groening, Fox took exception took a Simpsons' version of the Fox News rolling news ticker which parodied the channel's anti-Democrat stance with headlines like 'Do Democrats Cause Cancer?'" [Source: Agence France-Press, 10/29/03]
MURDOCH THE NEWS EDITOR:
"When The New York Post tore up its front page on Monday night to trumpet an apparent exclusive that Representative Richard A. Gephardt would be Senator John Kerry's running mate, the newspaper based its decision on a very high-ranking source: Rupert Murdoch, the man who controls the company that owns The Post, an employee said yesterday. The Post employee demanded anonymity, saying senior editors had warned that those who discussed the Gephardt gaffe with other news organizations would lose their jobs." [NY Times, 7/9/04]
Just as Fox claims to be "fair and balanced," Rupert Murdoch claims to stay out of partisan politics. But he has made his views quite clear – and used his media empire to implement his wishes. As a former News Corp. executive told Fortune Magazine, Murdoch "hungered for the kind of influence in the United States that he had in England and Australia" and that meant "part of our political strategy [in the U.S.] was the New York Post and the creation of Fox News and the Weekly Standard."
MURDOCH THE BUSH SUPPORTER:
Murdoch told Newsweek before the war, Bush "will either go down in history as a very great president or he'll crash and burn. I'm optimistic it will be the former by a ratio of 2 to 1…One senses he is a man of great character and deep humility." [Newsweek, 2/17/03]
MURDOCH THE BUSH FAMILY EMPLOYER:
As Slate reports, Murdoch "put George W. Bush cousin John Ellis in charge of [Fox's] Election Night vote-counting operation: Ellis made Fox the first network to declare Bush the victor" even as the New Yorker reported that Ellis spent the evening discussing the election with George W. and Jeb Bush. After the election, Fox bragged that it attracted 6.8 million viewers on Election Night, meaning Ellis was in a key position to tilt the election for President Bush. [Source: Slate, 11/22/00; New Yorker, 11/20/00]
MURDOCH THE MIXER OF BUSINESS AND POLITICS:
James Fallows of the Atlantic Monthly points out that most of Murdoch's actions "are consistent with the use of political influence for corporate advantage." In other words, he uses his publications to advance a political agenda that will make him money. The New York Times reports that in 2001, for example, The Sun, Britain's most widely read newspaper, followed Murdoch's lead in dropping its traditional conservative affiliation to endorse Tony Blair, the New Labor candidate. News Corp.'s other British papers, The Times of London, The Sunday Times and the tabloid News of the World, all concurred.
The papers account for about 35% of the newspaper market in Britain. Blair backed "a communications bill in the British Parliament that would loosen restrictions on foreign media ownership and allow a major newspaper publisher to own a broadcast television station as well a provision its critics call the 'Murdoch clause' because it seems to apply mainly to News Corp." [Atlantic Monthly, 9/03; New York Times, 4/9/03]
MURDOCH THE NEW YORK CITY POLITICAL BOSS:
The Columbia Journalism Review reported that during New York Mayor Rudolph Giuliani's first term "News Corp. received a $20.7 million tax break for the mid-Manhattan office building that houses the Post, Fox News Channel, TV Guide and other operations. During Giuliani's 1997 reelection campaign, News Corp. was also angling for hefty city tax breaks and other incentives to set up a new printing plant in New York City. Most dramatically, Giuliani jumped in to aggressively champion News Corp. when it battled Time Warner over a slot for the Fox News Channel on Time Warner's local cable system…Three years into Giuliani's first term, veteran Village Voice political reporter Wayne Barrett asked Post editorial page editor Eric Breindel if the paper had run a single editorial critical of the administration; Breindel, he says, admitted it had not. According to Barrett, the paper pulled off a perfect four-year streak" of not one critical editorial. [Columbia Journalism Review, 6/98]
Rupert Murdoch thinks of himself as a staunch anti-communist. But a look at the record shows that when his own profits are on the line, he is willing to do favors for the most repressive regimes on the planet.
MURDOCH THE DEFENDER OF REPRESSIVE REGIMES:
The last governor of Hong Kong before it was handed back to China, Chris Patten, signed a contract to write his memoirs with Murdoch's publishing company, HarperCollins. But according to the Evening Standard, when "Murdoch heard that the book, East and West, would say unflattering things about the Chinese leadership, with whom he was doing satellite TV business, the contract was cancelled. It caused a furor in the press - except, of course, in the Murdoch papers, which barely mentioned the story." According to BusinessWeek, internal memos surfaced suggesting the canceling of the contract was motivated by "corporate worries about friction with China, where HarperCollins' boss, Rupert Murdoch, has many business interests." [Evening Standard, 8/13/03; BusinessWeek, 9/15/98]
MURDOCH THE APOLOGIST FOR DICTATORSHIPS:
Time Magazine reported that while Murdoch is supposedly "a devout anti-Soviet and anti-communist" he "became bewitched by China in the early '90s." In an effort to persuade Chinese dictators that he would never challenge their behavior, Murdoch "threw the BBC off Star TV" (his satellite network operating in China) after BBC aired reports about Chinese human rights violations. Murdoch argued the BBC "was gratuitously attacking the regime, playing film of the massacre in Tiananmen Square over and over again." In 1998 Chinese President Jiang Zemin praised Murdoch for the "objective" way in which his papers and television covered China. [Source: Time Magazine, 10/25/99]
MURDOCH THE PROPAGANDIST FOR DICTATORS:
While Murdoch justifies his global media empire as a threat to "totalitarian regimes everywhere," according to Time Magazine, Murdoch actually pays the salary of a top TV consultant working to improve the Chinese government's communist state-run television CCTV. As Time notes, "nowadays, News Corp. and CCTV International are partners of sorts," exchanging agreements to air each other's content, even though CCTV is "a key propaganda arm of the Communist Party." [Source: Time Magazine, 7/6/04]
MURDOCH THE ENABLER OF HUMAN RIGHTS VIOLATORS:
According to the LA Times, Murdoch had his son James, now in charge of News Corp.'s China initiative, attack the Falun Gong, the spiritual movement banned by the Chinese government after 10,000 of its followers protested in Tiananmen Square. With Rupert in attendance, James Murdoch called the movement a "dangerous" and "apocalyptic cult" and lambasted the Western press for its negative portrayal of China's awful human rights record. Murdoch "startled even China's supporters with his zealous defense of that government's harsh crackdown on Falun Gong and criticism of Hong Kong democracy supporters." Murdoch also "said Hong Kong democracy advocates should accept the reality of life under a strong-willed 'absolutist' government." It "appeared to some to be a blatant effort to curry favor" with the China's repressive government. [LA Times, 3/23/01]
MURDOCH THE HIDER OF MONEY IN COMMUNIST CUBA:
Despite a U.S. embargo of communist Cuba, the Washington Post reports, "News Corp.'s organizational chart consists of no less than 789 business units incorporated in 52 countries, including Mauritius, Fiji and even Cuba." [Washington Post, 12/7/97]
From union busting to tax evading, Rupert Murdoch has established a shady business record that raises serious questions about his corporate ethics.
MURDOCH THE UNION BUSTER:
The Economist reported that in 1986 Murdoch "helped smash the British print unions by transferring the production of his newspapers to a non-union plant at Wapping in East London." The move "proved to be a turning-point in Britain's dreadful industrial relations." AP reported Murdoch specifically "slashed employment levels" at the union plant and said he would "dismiss the 6,000 striking workers" who were trying to force concessions out of the media baron. The London Evening Standard called the tactics "the biggest union-busting operation in history." [Sources: The Economist, 4/18/98; AP, 1/27/86; Evening Standard, 11/12/98]
MURDOCH THE CORPORATE TAX EVADER:
The BBC reported that "Mr. Murdoch's die-hard loyalty to the tax loophole has drawn wide criticism" after a report found that in the four years prior to June 30, 1998, "Murdoch's News Corporation and its subsidiaries paid only $325 million in corporate taxes worldwide. That translates as 6% of the $5.4 billion consolidated pre-tax profits for the same period…By comparison another multi-national media empire, Disney, paid 31%. The corporate tax rates for the three main countries in which News Corp. operates - Australia, the United States and the UK - are 36%, 35% and 30% respectively. Further research reveals that Mr. Murdoch's main British holding company, News Corp. Investments, has paid no net corporation tax within these shores over the past 11 years. This is despite accumulated pre-tax profits of nearly $3 billion." [Source: BBC, 3/25/99]
MURDOCH THE LOVER OF OFFSHORE TAX HAVENS:
When a congressional panel asked if he was hiding money in tax havens, including communist Cuba, Murdoch responded "we might have in the past, I'm not denying that." The Washington Post reports, "through the deft use of international accounting loopholes and offshore tax havens, Murdoch has paid corporate income taxes at one-fifth the rate of his chief U.S. rivals throughout the 1990s, according to corporate documents and company officials." Murdoch "has mastered the use of the offshore tax haven." His company "reduces its annual tax bill by channeling profits through dozens of subsidiaries in low-tax or no-tax places such as the Cayman Islands and Bermuda. The overseas profits from movies made by 20th Century Fox, for instance, flow into a News Corp.-controlled company in the Caymans, where they are not taxed." [Source: Congressional Testimony, 5/8/03; Washington Post, 12/7/97]
MURDOCH THE ABUSER OF TAX LOOPHOLES:
Even though Murdoch changed his citizenship in order to comply with U.S. media ownership rules, many of his companies have remained Australian, allowing them "to utilize arcane accounting rules that have pumped up reported profits and greatly aided Murdoch's periodic acquisition sprees." IRS officials point out that "U.S.-based companies face U.S. taxes on their offshore subsidiaries in the Caymans and elsewhere if more than 50 percent of the subsidiary is controlled by American shareholders. But that doesn't apply to News Corp., an Australian company." [Source: Congressional Testimony, 5/8/03; Washington Post, 12/7/97]

News of the World phone-hacking whistleblower found dead
Hoare first made his claims in a New York Times investigation into the phone-hacking allegations at the News of the World.
Death of Sean Hoare – who was first named journalist to allege Andy Coulson knew of hacking – not being treated as suspicious.
Sean Hoare, the former News of the World showbusiness reporter who was the first named journalist to allege that Andy Coulson was aware of phone hacking by his staff, has been found dead .
Hoare, who worked on the Sun and the News of the World with Coulson before being dismissed for drink and drugs problems, was said to have been found at his Watford home.
Hertfordshire police would not confirm his identity, but the force said in a statement: "At 10.40am today [Monday 18 July] police were called to Langley Road, Watford, following the concerns for the welfare of a man who lives at an address on the street. Upon police and ambulance arrival at a property, the body of a man was found. The man was pronounced dead at the scene shortly after.
"The death is currently being treated as unexplained but not thought to be suspicious. Police investigations into this incident are ongoing."
Hoare, who was in his mid-forties, first made his claims in a New York Times investigation into the phone-hacking allegations at the News of the World.
He told the newspaper that not only did Coulson know of the phone hacking, but that he actively encouraged his staff to intercept the phone calls of celebrities in the pursuit of exclusives.
In a subsequent interview with the BBC he alleged that he was personally asked by his editor at the time, Coulson, to tap into phones. In an interview with the PM programme he said Coulson's insistence that he didn't know about the practice was "a lie, it is simply a lie".
At the time a Downing Street spokeswoman said Coulson totally and utterly denied the allegations and said he had "never condoned the use of phone hacking and nor do I have any recollection of incidences where phone hacking took place".
Hoare, who said he was once a close friend of Coulson's, told the New York Times the two first worked together at the Sun, where, Hoare said, he played tape recordings of hacked messages for Coulson. At the News of the World, Hoare said, he continued to inform Coulson of his activities. Coulson "actively encouraged me to do it", Hoare said.
In September last year he was interviewed under caution by police over his claims that the former Tory communications chief asked him to hack into phones when he was editor of the paper, but declined to make any comment.
Hoare returned to the spotlight last week, after he told the New York Times that reporters at the News of the World were able to use police technology to locate people using their mobile phone signals in exchange for payments to police officers.
He said journalists were able to use a technique called "pinging" which measured the distance between mobile handsets and a number of phone masts to pinpoint its location.
Hoare gave further details about the use of "pinging" to the Guardian last week. He described how reporters would ask a news desk executive to obtain the location of a target: "Within 15 to 30 minutes someone on the news desk would come back and say 'right that's where they are.'"
He said: "You'd just go to the news desk and they'd just come back to you. You don't ask any questions. You'd consider it a job done. The chain of command is one of absolute discipline and that's why I never bought into it, like with Andy saying he wasn't aware of it and all that. That's bollocks."
He said he would stand by everything he had told the New York Times about "pinging". "I don't know how often it happened. That would be wrong of me. But if I had access as a humble reporter … "
He admitted he had had problems with drink and drugs and had been in rehab. "But that's irrelevant," he said. "There's more to come. This is not going to go away."
Hoare named a private investigator who he said had links with the News of the World, adding: "He may want to talk now because I think what you'll find now is a lot of people are going to want to cover their arse."
Speaking to another Guardian journalist last week, Hoare repeatedly expressed the hope that the hacking scandal would lead to journalism in general being cleaned up and said he had decided to blow the whistle on the activities of some of his former News of the World colleagues with that aim in mind.
He also said he had been injured the previous weekend while taking down a marquee erected for a children's party. He said he had broken his nose and badly injured his foot when a relative accidentally struck him with a heavy pole from the marquee.
Hoare also emphasised that he was not making any money from telling his story. Hoare, who has been treated for drug and alcohol problems, reminisced about partying with former pop stars and said he missed the days when he was able to go out on the town.
On Monday evening the curtains were drawn at his home, a first-floor apartment in a new-build block of flats.
A neighbour, Nicky Dormer, who lives opposite, said three police cars and two ambulances arrived at the property at 11am.
Police left at about 3pm, shortly after a man and a woman, believed to be grieving relatives, arrived at the premises.
She and another neighbour described Hoare as a jovial man who would often sit on his balcony, overlooking the entrance to the block, and talk to residents.
They said he lived in the block with his partner, a woman called Jo, who they believed had been away on holiday.
Neither had seen Hoare for a few days.
Paul Pritchard, 30, another neighbour, said Sean Hoare was "the most sociable" resident, and they would regularly see him watering the communal front lawn or clearing out the bin shed.
"It is just such a shock. About a month ago he said he felt unwell and he said he went to the doctors for a checkup. Then I saw him again and he seemed well."

Muslim Victim of Post-9/11 Hate Crime Calls on Texas to Spare Life of His Assailant
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KWae9QBmrWc
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YivxImox3B8
In Texas, a hate crime victim is attempting to save the life of a convicted murderer who shot him in the face at close range after 9/11. Rais Bhuiyan is suing Governor Rick Perry in order to stop the execution of death row prisoner Mark Stroman scheduled for Wednesday. Stroman shot Bhuiyan in 2001, partially blinding him in his right eye.
Stroman, an Aryan Brotherhood member, also killed Vasudev Patel, an Indian immigrant who was Hindu, and Waqar Hasan, a Muslim born in Pakistan. "I strongly believe what Mark Stroman did was a hate crime because of his ignorance, and he was not capable of distinguishing between right and wrong. Otherwise, he would not have done what he did,” Bhuiyan said. “The way my parents raised me, and my Islamic faith teaches me, that he is the best who can forgive easily. And my faith teaches that no one has a right to take another human life.
Islam doesn’t allow for hate and killing.” In a statement written in prison, Stroman says, “Not only do I have all My friends and supporters trying to Save my Life, but now i have The Islamic Community Joining in ... Spearheaded by one Very Remarkable man Named Rais Bhuiyan, Who is a Survivor of My Hate. His deep Islamic Beliefs Have gave him the strength to Forgive the Un-forgiveable ... that is truly Inspiring to me, and should be an Example for us all. The Hate, has to stop, we are all in this world together." [includes rush transcript]

'Israeli agents filmed 9/11 destruction'
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=efGAXcI6YQ0
A political analyst says the US should launch an investigation into the 9/11 attacks to find out more about the Israeli role.
Press TV discusses the anniversary of 9/11 with Mark Glenn, author and political commentator from Idaho on US and Israeli foreknowledge of the event and how it was used to start a war against the Muslim world. Following is a transcript of the interview.
Press TV: Tell us about this specific ceremony. Two presidents, current and former, will be attending. What is your perception of this?
Mark Glenn: Well, we have to keep in mind as with all things involving American politics particularly today that this will be another staged production as anything coming out of Hollywood.
If Presidents Obama and Bush truly want to do honor to the victims of 9/11 they should open up an honest and independent investigation of exactly what took place that day and to bring into the picture some very embarrassing details such as foreknowledge by certain Middle Eastern governments about the intending attacks that day - governments that are supposed to be allies of the US, but governments who refused to warn us.
I'm talking specifically about the state of Israel and the fact that she had enough foreknowledge of these attacks that she had at least half a dozen intelligence officers stationed across the river in the state park of New Jersey and who were witnessed filming the destruction that was taking place that day and cheering.
In fact the only arrests that took place on 9/11 were these five Israeli intelligence officers.
So if President Obama and former President Bush truly wish to do honor to those who lost their lives that day I think there needs to be a new chapter that is opened up into the 9/11 investigator including at least Israel's foreknowledge of the events of that day.
Press TV: There are still a lot of myths and mysteries surrounding the events of 9/11. A wide range of people even in the US believe that 9/11 was an inside job and had some sort of inside cooperation at least in order to have an attack of that scope happen. What more can you tell us about those hypotheses?
Mark Glenn: This is not something we would consider a fringe theory. We had the former president of Italy who came out and stated clearly that he believed that it was an inside job and involved certain high level elements and of course with Israel's Mossad.
Of course we also had your honorable President Ahmadinejad address the UN General Assembly in September where he broached the unmentionable topic, which is the possible foreknowledge of the attacks that day on the part of the US and of Israel and the fact that nothing was done to prevent this.
So it's not a fringe theory anymore; it is not the stuff of tabloid newspapers in checkout lanes anymore. My personal theory is that every intelligence agency of every government in the world knows that the US colluded with each other in order to bring these things about although these intelligence services and these executive officers, maybe the presidents of their prime ministers or even their kings for that matter; even though may not come out and publicly state this I think that it is obvious to them that the US is involved in these wars for Israel's benefit.
It is something that's going to slowly but surely receive more and more of the light of day and unfortunately the American people are probably going to be the last to know about it because we really do live in a closed society as much as we like to brag to the rest of the world that we are the beacon of freedom and democracy. That fact of the matter is that America is a closed society because of the fact that we have total lockdown of information.
The American people have virtually no information as to how the government works or more importantly, foreign policy. If you ask them why are we in Iraq, they'll say because of 9/11. And when you say that Iraq had absolutely nothing to do with 9/11, they'll blink and mutter some little sound to say isn't that slightly interesting and then they'll just go on about their lives despite the fact that we have lost upwards of 5,000 of our young men and women fighting this war, which had nothing to do the events of 9/11.
Press TV: Let's talk about the ripple effects of 9/11 in the bigger picture. How much has the US changed since 9/11. The repercussions that 9/11 has had on society; its effect on multiculturalism not only in the US, but also in European countries as well. Many pin the rise of Islamophobia to the events of 9/11.
Mark Glenn: Absolutely. The US is now a different country. I would say that Europe is a different continent as well; a different society where, as you pointed out, Islamophobia is the order of the day. We have Muslims being attacked everyday in the US for nothing other than for the crime of being Islamic.
Of course, we saw the tragic events that took place in Norway recently where, purely out of the hatred of Muslims, which is a by-product of the concerted effort of these pro-Israel groups to foster this hatred between the West and Islam, a man goes on a rampage and kills close to a hundred innocent children.
There has been a great shift in the cultures and the societies of the US and throughout Europe and not accidently. It is exactly what these pro-Israel groups and Israel herself has wanted all along is to see this clash of civilizations take place between the Western Christian world where the preponderance of military and economic power lies and of course you have to have great military and economic power in order to wage a war against a billion and a half people, which is exactly what this is all about, it is a war against Islam it is not a war against terrorism.
