Kamil Al Mtur, 43, and his wife Hikmat
Palestinian man and his wife killed and their son critically wounded due to an explosion in Hebron
A Palestinian man and his wife were killed on Saturday midday, and their son was badly wounded, when an explosive left behind by the Israeli army blew up near the family's house in the village of Sa'ier, near the southern West Bank city of Hebron.
Kamil Al Mtur, 43, and his wife Hikmat arrived to the hospital dead, after sustaining fatal wounds in the head and back, while their son, Sanad, 18, was admitted to surgery due to his critical wounds, medical sources reported.
Eyewitnesses said that an unknown device, apparently left by the Israeli army, caused the explosion that took the lives of the couple. Palestinian security spokespeople stated that in the initial investigation of the incident, it appeared to be an unexploded Israeli tank shell that caused the explosion.
The deaths of Mtur and his wife add to the death toll of three Palestinians killed in the West Bank and Gaza Strip this week, including two children. Their deaths make a total of five Palestinians killed by Israeli forces this week alone. Israeli soldiers also abducted 117 residents, including a woman and five children, in the West Bank, including two journalists from the city of Hebron in two separate invasion on Friday and Saturday.
Unexploded ordinances, like the one that killed the Hebron couple Saturday, are a common danger throughout Palestine, where daily invasions of Israeli forces often result in explosives, ordinances and tank shells that are left behind. It is often children who are the victims of these unexploded ordinances, as they are naturally curious and drawn to the strange objects left by the army. At least five children have been killed this year by unexploded ordinances that blew up when they touched or came near them.

Mother of three children killed by gunmen in Gaza
Following Monday morning tragic shooting, where unknown gunmen shot at the car of Major Baha' Balousha, killing his three children on their way to school, instead of him, the mother of the slain children spoke to Ma'an, and gave the following statements;
The three children are Osama, 10, Ahmad, 6, and Salam, 3 years old.
"They drained my blood when they killed my three children, and wasted my lifetime's fruit in the blink of an eye. If they consider that an accomplishment, I congratulate them for it", the bereaved mother said.
The mother, Linda Abu Taqiyya, 30, heard the sound of the shots from her home on Al-Kinz Street, in central Gaza City. She called her sister Hanady, saying, "Please go and check, I feel that it's my kids, and I can see their car, but I don’t know what is going on."
"They have wasted them and killed them!" she cried to her sister, after she heard from the neighbours that three children had been shot and killed. She said that her heart stopped when she heard the shots at 7:10 am.
"Ahmad didn't want to go to school today and Osama dragged him by force," she said.
Then she added in despair, "Over the last week, I have felt contractions in my heart. Last night, my three children tried to spend the night next to me, but I insisted that they go to sleep, so as to get up early in the morning for school.
In the morning, Ahmad woke up and told me that he feels very cold. I tried to warm him up, but he didn't want to go to school at the Roman Orthodox School with his big brother Osama. His other brothers dragged him by force. I wish I was with them and died, instead of staying alive, to live the life-long agony over losing them."
Wearing clothes of black, the bereaved mother continued: "The last words I heard from Osama were: "Mom, I have memorized the dictation lesson by heart, and I will get a full mark." He left the house unaware that the bats of the night had been awaiting him to plant 60 bullets in his and his brothers' tiny bodies, killing what is left of their parents' dreams."
She sat in her children's room on the tenth floor of the Al-Isra building and said,"for God's sake, that is enough. Yesterday they killed Tayseer Khattab and Jad At-Tayeh, and his attendants. Every day, there are explosions near the officials' houses. Is it my husband's guilt that he is a general in the intelligence service? Where is the government and where is the presidency?"

Mother Of Three Children Murdered In Gaza Speaks Of Her Suffering
Gaza - Ma'an - "I will not accept the flowers or the perfume" these are the words of Linda Ba'lousha Abu Taqiya, aged 30 and the wife of Bahaa Ba'lousha on Mother's Day, whilst remembering her three children who were killed by unidentified gunmen on December 11th 2006.
The distraught mother said "three months since they left me, I feel that I have lived all my life as they are away from me, every new day means to me a new sad day of suffering and pain, sadness which strangles the feelings in my soul, this feeling is killing me thousands of times every day".
Linda added "the picture of Osama aged 8, Ahmad 6, and Salam 4, is before my eyes, I remember all the moments of joy I have lived with them".
She said "I still remember the last words of Osama when he said 'mum I have learnt by heart my dictation lesson and today I will get 10 out of 10'.
"Then he left for the car to take him to school, he did not know that monsters were awaiting him and emptied 60 bullets in his and his brothers' heads, these bullets destroyed mine and my husband's dreams."
As Linda spoke tears streamed down her cheeks. "I can't believe that I can't see my three sons," she said. "I wonder what the murderers achieved by killing them, they have stolen the most lovely thing in my life just because they want revenge, stupid revenge. I want to ask them: did you achieve your goals by killing three innocent children?"
She said out that she will put flowers on their graves today. Linda asked the killers "how can you sleep while the blood of my sons is on your hands? How do you look into the eyes of your children and wives? How did you face the fear in the eyes of my children when you shot them? Aren't the souls of my children chasing you?"

MK's react on High Court order justifying assassinations
After the Thursday ruling of the Israeli High Court of Justice justifying the Israeli targeted-killing policy, several Arab members of Knesset slammed the ruling and said that is authorizes War Crimes.
The court ruling stated that the assassinations do not categorically violate international law, but must be considered on individual basis.
Arab MK Jamal Zahalka, from the National Democratic Assembly said that the court authorized extrajudicial executions and war crimes.
He added that the issue must be taken to International Courts because it is not an internal Israeli issue and should be dealt with in an international framework.
MK Ahmad Tibi, from the Ra'am-Ta'a party, said that this ruling is a “continuation of the High Court's security-oriented stance, which since 1967 has authorized expropriation, expulsion, uprooting, and assassinations", Israeli online daily Haaretz reported.
Also, Hadash MK Mohammad Barakeh said that this ruling “gives legitimacy to the occupation, murder, crimes and assassinations”.
Meanwhile, Meretz member of Knesset Zahava Gal-On, said that the court should have forbid the assassinations because they are extrajudicial executions, and added that the positive side of the ruling is that it placed limitations and reservations on the policy.
Likud MK Yuval Steinitz welcomed the decision, saying that Israel is obliged to defend its citizens and called for limiting the High Court Authority to intervene on matters of war and peace, immigrations and terror, Israeli online daily Haaretz reported.
Effi Eitan, member of the National-Union Religious party, said that Israel must continue the targeted killings since it is an effective operations tools.

Ameen Makhluf, 20
One Palestinian man killed by Israeli army fire in Nablus north of the West Bank
Palestinian sources reported on Saturday morning that an Israeli army force invaded the northern West Bank city of Nablus, and killed on man.
Ameen Makhluf, 20, was killed after being shot by the soldiers in his neck, chest and both of his legs, medical sources in the city reported.
The invasion started when an army convoy of vehicles and one bulldozer stormed the city of Nablus from several directions, surrounded the city center and the Old City, sharp-shooters were positioned on roof tops of adjacent houses, in an attempt by the army to abduct what they call wanted Palestinians.
A gun fight erupted between the invading troops and local resistance fighters leading to the death of Makhluf who was shot by an Israeli sharp-shooter, eyewitnesses reported.
In related incidents, army invaded several areas in the West Bank, Palestinian sources reported that soldiers invaded Jenin and Tulkarem cities in the northern part of the West Bank, and Hebron in the southern part of the West Bank.
Military sources claimed that these invasions were aimed at abducting wanted Palestinians.
Four Palestinians were killed last week in the ongoing Israeli military attacks and invasions.
In one instance, a married couple was killed in Sa’ir village near Hebron when a mysterious object exploded. The exploding object came from material collected by the husband from an Israeli military training site.
During an invasion into Qalqila in which Israeli troops threw a sound bomb into a house, the bomb exploded near the 56-year-old Latifa ‘Aashour who died of a heart attack when the bomb exploded near her.
Also, army killed one resident on Thursday in Al Ein Refugee camp in Nablus, while another resident was killed on Friday morning in the northern West Bank city of Salfit.
Israeli soldiers also abducted forty residents, including six children over the last week.

Palestinian family in Tulkarem demands compensation after Israeli army kill their daughter
Israeli newspaper Haaretz reported on Tuesday that the family of Duaa’ Abdul-Qader, 14, who was killed by Israeli military fire last December in Tulkarem in the northern part of the West Bank, filed an appeal to the Israeli Jerusalem District Court demanding compensation.
The army claimed that soldiers fired at the child after she 'came too close' to the Annexation Wall. The family said in its appeal that it should be compensated for the pain and suffering inflicted on them after the soldiers shot and killed their child, and demanded Israel provide them with the needed psychological services.
The appeal did not set a certain amount as compensation. Rami Othman, the lawyer representing the family, said that they are suffering psychologically and economically especially since the father is imprisoned by Israel.
The Israeli Prison Authorities barred the detained father from attending the funeral of his child. An initial investigation carried out by the army after the fatal shooting revealed that one soldier of the Nahshoun division fired at the child because he “suspected that she was a Palestinian activist”. The child was with one of her friends when soldiers fired at them.

Two Killed After Cease Fire Announced on Wednesday
Two Palestinian residents were killed early on Wednesday and at least six others wounded in renewed gun battles between militants in Gaza.
Local medical sources reported that two unidentified people were killed and seven others wounded in armed clashed in the Alsabra neighborhood of Gaza City, just a few hours after all parties, under Egyptian mediation, agreed late Tuesday night to halt all forms of tension in Gaza and to immediately back dialogue to resolve their differences.
Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and his Prime Minister, Ismail Haniyeh of Hamas, agreed yesterday evening to work on reaching a national unity government through open talks, after both Fatah and Hamas failed to conclude such a government over the previous 9 months.
Recent clashes in Gaza came after Palestinian President Abbas called for early presidential and legislative elections, while the Hamas-led government refused. The Palestinian PM announced official refusal of that call in a televised speech yesterday.

Ten Year Old Girl Shot and Killed East of Tulkarem
Palestinian sources reported that a ten year old girl, Du'a' Abd Al Qader, was shot and killed by an Israeli sharpshooter while playing near the illegal Israeli wall in the eastern side of Tulkarem city in the northern part of the West Bank on Tuesday evening.
Abd Al Qader was playing with her friends on a farm that is overlooked by an Israeli watchtower located on the illegal wall surrounding the city. A sharpshooter from that watchtower opened fire at the girls, critically wounding Abd Al Qader and injuring her ten year old friend Rasah Shalabi, eyewitnesses reported.
Eyewitnesses added that when Palestinian medical teams arrived at the scene they were stopped by Israeli soldiers who surrounded and sealed off the scene and were forced to return to the city after the Israeli soldiers threatened to shoot them if they came any closer the scene. Meanwhile, the army brought an Israeli ambulance and then moved the two girls to an Israeli hospital where Abd Al Qader died as a result of her gunshot wounds. With the killing of Abd Al Qader, the death toll of Palestinians killed by the Israeli army on Tuesday has stopped at three.

Israeli Army Assassinates Two More Palestinians in the West Bank
Local Palestinian sources reported that an Israeli army convoy invaded the village of Siliet Al Harthia, surrounded a house in the center of the village and clashed with the besieged resistance fighters located inside the home killing two of them.
The Israeli Army stormed the village of Siliet Al Harthia near the northern West Bank city of Jenin and killed two Palestinians on Wednesday morning.
Medical sources identified the two Palestinians killed as Hussam Al Aifie and Salah Fawastah, both were said to be fighters for Al-Quds Brigades which is the armed wing of the Islamic Jihad movement. During the gun fight, an additional two activists were also injured and then abducted by the invading Israeli troops.
This is the third assassination attack Israeli forces have conducted in the Northern West Bank areas in less than 24 hours. On Tuesday morning, Israeli undercover agents killed one Palestinian resistance fighter in Nablus city and another undercover force killed another resistance fighter in Tulkarem city on Tuesday afternoon.
The Israeli Army has apparently resumed the policy of extra-judicial killings aimed at Palestinian leadership and resistance fighters. This came shortly after several Israeli human rights organizations raised the case against the army's use of these types of assassination policies. That argument was rejected by the highest Israeli Supreme Court which opens the door for the army to conduct such assaults in Palestinian territories based on the decisions taken by Israeli Army Officers. This is a clear violation of the Geneva Convention governing human rights, which guarantees the rights of any person suspected of a crime to have a fair, just and legal trial.
