Mohammad Abdeen, 37
father of 5, murdered by the Zionists in cold blood
Mohammad Abdel Salam Abdeen from At-Tur in occupied Jerusalem was killed while in Israeli detention. Sources say that Abdeen died as a result of torture and medical negligence raising the number of Palestinian detainees murdered inside Israeli jails to 199.
Because the usual Israeli justification for killing Palestinians, i.e. he had an explosive belt, wouldn’t work in this case, the terrorist entity used its other card, i.e. Palestinian victims kill themselves and rushed to claim that Abdeen committed suicide in his cell.
What started as a traffic accident ended with the murder of a Palestinian, as in the case of Al-Julani and countless other cases where Palestinian cars colliding with Israeli ones lead to the extrajudicial execution of the Palestinian driver, while Zionist colonists deliberately running over Palestinian women and children are allowed to continue roaming our streets and killing more of us.
One year earlier, Abdeen’s car had a collision with an Israeli car in what was a normal traffic accident. Because he was a Palestinian, Abdeen was arrested in a brutal way and taken to Il-Maskubiyyeh detention center in occupied Jerusalem.
He was later transferred to Asqalan prison where he was interrogated and tortured for many weeks. This was the first step in many to follow in which Abdeen was locked up in at least 4 Israeli prisons:
he was placed in solitary confinement in Eshel prison, then moved to Ramon prison and then to Majiddo prison, then to Mi’bar section of Ramleh prison, which is a detention center where prisoners are kept before their court sessions in Ofer military court.
Abdeen had a court session on Sunday, but he never made it to the court because he was murdered on Thursday.
In addition to being tortured during interrogation, Abdeen suffered from bad health conditions and was denied medical treatment.
His wife, who visited him in jail on 06.06.2010, only a few days before his death, noticed his deteriorating health and said she saw his hands shaking, his limbs could barely function, he could hardly talk, his body was weak and that he was in great pain.
She is reported saying: “Mohammad was another person… his face was pale and it was obvious that he was very tired, and a female soldier used to come in the morning and the evening and give him a medicine which he didn’t know what it was or what for”.
Only some 2 weeks earlier, on 24.05.2010, his wife found him in excellent health. This drastic change in his health condition, the sudden pain and suffering that rushed his death only strengthen what some Palestinian experts on Palestinian prisoner’s affairs say about Israeli prison authorities using Palestinian detainees for medical experiments and as test objects for new Israeli medicines.
When his body was later released for burial, the family noticed signs of beating on his neck and face.
Mohammad was 37 years old and the father of 5 children. 28 apr 2012, 22:50 , Respect

IDF shelling kills Palestinian woman in Gaza
IDF spokesperson says forces fired at Palestinians suspected of mounting an attack near the border between Gaza and Israel.
Israeli army shelling killed a Palestinian woman and wounded two of her relatives in the central Gaza Strip on Tuesday, hospital officials said.
Asked about the incident in the village of Johar a-Deek, which is near Gaza's border with Israel, a military spokeswoman said forces opened fire at Palestinians suspected of mounting an attack. She did not immediately elaborate.
Since Israel's Gaza offensive 18 months ago, cross-border violence has largely abated. But there are occasional rocket and mortar salvoes by Palestinians, usually claimed by militant groups unaligned with the dominant Islamist Hamas movement.

Egyptian Man Killed By Israeli Army Fire, One Injured And Two Arrested
Israeli soldiers shot and killed an Egyptian man, wounded another man, and detained two others while attempting to infiltrate into Israel through the Egyptian border.
Egyptian sources reported that the Egyptian Authorities were notified by the Israeli army that four Egyptians managed to infiltrate through the barbed-wire near border maker number 45, in the Sinai Desert.
The army added that soldiers opened fire at the four “after they failed to cede to the demands to stop”; one of them was killed, one was wounded and two were detained.
Israel informed Egypt that the body of the slain resident will be transferred to Egypt at a later stage, and did not provide any details regarding the wounded and the detained residents.
Similar to previous incidents, Egypt did not make any statement on the latest attack yet, and did not demand Israel to investigate the attack.
On June 16, Israeli soldiers shot and killed a Bedouin man from Sinai after claiming that he was a smuggler who infiltrated into Israel.
Four Egyptians were killed last year during similar incidents, dozens of casualties from Sudan, Ethiopia and other African national were also reported.

Israeli Air Strike Kills One Palestinian, Wounds Another, In Gaza
Palestinian sources reported on Monday evening that one resident was killed and another was wounded when the Israeli Air Force bombarded al-Shujaeyya neighborhood east of Gaza City.
The attack was apparently carried out by an unmanned drone, and was immediately followed by artillery shells.
The slain resident was identified as Bassam Badwan, 29, while another resident was wounded.
Badwan died of his wounds after his legs were severed from his body and due to numerous wounds to other parts of his body.
Medics are trying to coordinate with the Red Cross in order to be allowed to enter the area to search for residents who could have been wounded during the shelling as local sources reported that two more residents were wounded.
The Abu Ali Mustafa Brigades, the armed wing of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), said that Badwan is one of its members.

Diyar is from the remote Palestinian village of Iraq Burin in the West Bank, and is a student in English Literature at Al Najah University in nearby Nablus. His village has suffered particularly harshly from the brutal Israeli military occupation, with denial of access to land and property, restrictions on movement in and out of the village, and deadly military raids.
Here he talks about life under the occupation, including the murder of his 16 yeard old cousin, Muhammad, 2 months previously by the occupying Israeli army.

Israeli boy campaigns against border mines
(2:37) Israeli boy campaigns against border mines
More than 2,600 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli landmines in the past 40 years.
This is no surprise considering that more than a million mines remain active. They are scattered along Israel's borders with Syria, Jordan, Lebanon and Egypt.
Israel has always refused to remove them, but now an 11-year-old Israeli boy is campaigning to have them cleared.

Extradition for suspect in killing of Hamas man
Israeli suspected of being involved in killing Hamas commander to be extradited to Germany form Poland
A Polish court has ordered the extradition of an Israeli suspected of being a Mossad agent involved in the killing of the Hamas commander Mahmoud al-Mabhouh.
Tomasz Calkiewicz, a Warsaw district court judge, said the suspect, Uri Brodsky, was to be extradited to Germany on charges of forgery.
Brodsky is suspected of helping fake a German passport used by a member of a hit squad believed to be behind the Hamas man's murder in Dubai in January.
The defence attorney, Anna Mika-Kopec, said that an appeal against extradition had not been planned yet.

Rabee Ali Harb
Qassam Fighter Dies Of Wounds Suffered In 2006
The al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas movement, reported that one of its fighters died of wounds suffered four years ago after the army attempted to assassinate him in Ramallah, in the central West Bank.
The fighter was identified as Rabee Ali Harb from Eskaka village near Salfit. He became paralyzed due to the attempt on his life and suffered several complications that led to his death.
After his injury, Harb was hospitalized in Palestine and abroad but several health complications and infections led to his death.
He was shot by ten rounds of live ammunition in his back and pelvis, and was kidnapped by the army after his injury in 2006. He was released in 2008 after a sharp deterioration in his health condition.
Harb died on Sunday evening at a local hospital in Nablus city, in the northern part of the West Bank.
The Brigades vowed retaliation and stated that “the resistance will not surrender to Israel military crimes”.

Ne'ma Yousef Abu Sa'id, 33
a number of women from the Abu Sa'id family from Gaza Valley village, in the central Gaza Strip, were sitting near their home, which is approximately 400 meters away from the border between the Gaza Strip and Israel.
At this time, Israeli troops stationed at the border fired two artillery shells at the house;
the attack was unprovoked and the witness could think of no reason for the attack. As a result,
-- Amira Jaber Abu Sa'id, 30, was wounded by shrapnel to the shoulder and her sister-in-law,
-- Sana'a Ahmed Abu Sa'id, 26, was wounded by shrapnel to the feet.
Members of the Abu Sa'id family phoned the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) to send ambulances to the area. Ambulances arrived at the area fifteen minutes later, but were not able to reach the targeted house because IOF continued to fire on the area.
The ambulances were forced to drive back to Deir al-Balah. Meanwhile,
Ne'ma Yousef Abu Sa'id, 33,
remembered that her three-year-old child was still outside the house. She went to find her child, and IOF fired a third shell at her.
She was instantly killed by shrapnel to the head and the abdomen. Her father-in-law,
-- Jaber Abu Sa'id, 65,
was also wounded by shrapnel wounds to the right thigh. The family continued to call the PRCS.
Approximately one and a half hours later a PRCS ambulance arrived at the scene after coordination with the Israeli authorities through the Palestinian Liaison Office. The ambulance transferred the victims to al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al- Balah.
Medical sources at the hospital affirmed that Ne'ma Abu Sa'id died of shrapnel wounds from an artillery shell.
The wounds of the other persons were described as moderate.
Israeli army fires shell at Gaza camp, killing one: Medics
GAZA CITY: The Israeli army fired at least one shell into the Al-Bureij neighbourhood in the Hamas-run Gaza Strip, killing a woman and wounding five people, Palestinian medics have said.
Medics said the woman was killed when the shell hit her house yesterday. Five others were wounded were taken to a nearby hospital.
An Israeli military spokeswoman confirmed the incident, saying that "suspects were identified coming close to the (border) fence and a force nearby opened fire."
She had no further details, but the Ynet website reported that Israeli forces had targeted a group of militants trying to fire mortars into Israel.
Israel launched a devastating assault on the Palestinian enclave in December 2008 aimed at halting rocket fire from the besieged coastal Strip.
Some 1,400 Palestinians and 13 Israelis were killed in the 22-day war.
After a year of quiet following the assault, Gaza militants have stepped up the cross-border rocket fire, with more than 60 rockets and mortar rounds striking Israel since January, the military says.

Mother of five killed by Israeli artillery fire close to Gaza buffer zone
Nasser Abu Said outside the shrapnel-riddled home where wife Ne’ema was killed by Israeli artillery Nasser Abu Said outside the shrapnel-riddled home where his wife, Ne’ema, was killed byIsraeli artillery
A mother of five was killed by Israeli artillery fire when she went to fetch her two-year-old son from outside her village home close to the "buffer zone" created by Israel along its border with Gaza.
Four of the Abu Sa'ad children
Three of her relatives were wounded in the shelling earlier this week, but Red Crescent ambulances were not permitted to reach the family for several hours.
According to the woman's husband, Nasser Abu Said, 37, the attack began without warning at about 8.30pm on Tuesday with two shells being fired as the family of 17 sat outside their house in the village of Johar a-Deek. Apart from Nasser and his 65-year-old father, the entire group was women and children.
"It was completely quiet, there were no rockets being fired or we wouldn't have been sitting outside," he said, referring to Qassam missiles launched by militants into Israel.
His sister and his brother's wife were injured by shrapnel. The family moved indoors and called an ambulance. "About 10 minutes later the ambulance called back to say the Israelis had refused them permission to come to the house," said Nasser.
His wife Ne'ema, 33, soon realised their youngest son, Jaber, was not among the children she was attempting to calm down, and was probably asleep on a mattress outside that he often shared with his grandfather.
Abu Said Family
As she went to fetch the toddler, another shell landed. "I called to my wife three times," said Nasser, who realised his father had also been badly injured in his leg and stomach. "I could hear small noises coming from her. I knew she was dying."
Via Palestinian co-ordinators, the IDF told the family that anyone going outside the house would be shot dead. Nasser began to tend to his injured father, knowing he could not reach his dying wife.
"I was holding myself in, especially in front of the children," he said. The children were crying hysterically and some had wet themselves, he added.
After two hours, an ambulance was allowed to reach the family. The Palestinian Centre for Human Rights (PCHR), which investigated the incident, said Ne'ema and her wounded relatives were taken to al-Aqsa Martyrs hospital in Deir al-Balah, where it was confirmed she had died from shrapnel wounds.
The Israeli Defence Force (IDF) said it had identified a number of suspects close to the border. "An IDF force fired at the suspects and identified hitting them," it said. The incident was being investigated, it added, but declined to say why ambulances had not been allowed to reach the family.
Since the three-week war in Gaza that began in December 2008, the IDF has continued to fire on Palestinians it suspects of launching rockets at Israeli civilians or attempting to attack Israeli forces. It created a 300m-wide buffer zone on Palestinian farmland adjacent to the border with Israel and warned it would shoot anyone seen within the forbidden area.
The Abu Saids say their land is not used by militants to fire rockets as it is open ground in full view of an Israeli watchtower at the border 400m away.
In the first five months of this year, 22 Palestinians were killed by Israeli forces in the buffer zone, according to the PCHR. The IDF says one soldier and a Thai farmworker were killed and two soldiers lightly wounded in militant attacks in the first half of this year.
Palestinians have been unable to harvest their crops in the zone, which has swallowed about 30% of Gaza's arable farmland. The Abu Said family have lived in the area for 40 years, but have had to abandon the part of their land inside the zone. "Everyone is afraid to come to this house," said Nasser.
The house, isolated down a rutted track, was riddled with shrapnel damage from Tuesday's shelling, and dried blood still lay in the sand where Ne'ema had been killed.
The PCHR condemned the shelling which, it said, "constitutes the highest degree of disregard for Palestinian civilians' lives". This was not an isolated incident but "part of a series of continuous crimes committed by the [Israeli military]".
