KHAN YOUNIS, (PIC)-- Israeli occupation forces (IOF) raided eastern Khan Younis, south of the Gaza Strip, at dawn Monday amidst random firing, local sources told the PIC.
They added that four IOF armored vehicles advanced tens of meters in citizens' land east of Khan Younis and bulldozed the land amidst indiscriminate firing with no casualties reported.
IOF warplanes had broken the sound barrier over the Gaza Strip on Sunday evening causing big noise and spreading panic especially in lines of children and women.
PIC reporter said that the act was sudden, noting that it followed intensive flight of reconnaissance planes.
Meanwhile, the reporter said that Israeli navy gunboats shelled and destroyed a Palestinian fishing boat off the central Gaza Strip coast.
The reporter, who was at scene of the incident, said that the boat was completely destroyed but no casualties were reported.

Israeli troops invade Hebron and neighboring towns
On Monday mornin, the Israeli military invaded the towns of al-Samu', Halhol, Beit al-Rosh, Sa'er, Beit Kahel and the al-Fawar Refugee Camp near Hebron, in the southern West Bank. The military conducted inspections of Palestinian vehicles and demanded identity cards of all passengers, apparently in search of persons who were 'wanted' by the military.
The 'wanted' lists used by the Israeli military are sourced by Palestinian informants and are invariably inaccurate, as informants are often paid to put people on the Israeli lists for political or personal reasons that have nothing to do with the security of Israel.
Security sources confirmed that Israeli soldiers installed military blockades at Ebn Rashd circle in the center of Hebron and searched the vehicles of Palestinians.
In related news, on Sunday night, the Israeli army kidnapped two Palestinian citizens from the village of Beit Umar near Hebron and transferred them to the Etzion interrogation and detention center located south of Bethlehem. The two detainees were identified as Badir al-Sa'akek,17, and Anwar Awad,16.

Army Prepares For The Possibility Of Not Invading P.A Areas At Will
After the United States reportedly backed a request by the Palestinian Authority in the West Bank, the Israeli army is preparing for potentially not being able to invade P.A controlled areas at will.
The army told Israel’s daily, Haaretz, that this issue will not have a significant impact on the security situation in the occupied territories.
The P.A has been asking the United States to intervene but Israel repeatedly rejected such demands.
The areas in question are located in Area A under the Oslo peace agreement; Area A includes Bethlehem, Ramallah, Tulkarem, Qalqilia, Hebron, Nablus, Jericho and Jenin.
The Israeli army carries invasions nearly every night and kidnaps Palestinians believed to be members of the resistance. The arrests target organizers of nonviolent resistance, students, political leaders, and in some cases resistance fighters.
Washington agreed to intervene in order to limit the invasions especially since the Palestinian Security Forces in the West Bank are trained by the United States.
Haaretz reported that Israeli Army officers in the West Bank told its reporter that the security cooperation with the Palestinian Security Forces, and the capabilities of the Shin Bet security apparatus enable Israel to deal with a situation where it would limit army invasions into the West Bank.
The army told Haaretz that the Palestinian Authority in the West Bank arrested hundreds of Hamas members and fighters, and that most of the activities of Hamas are currently taking place outside of main West Bank cities.

Israeli Occupation Gunboats Attack Palestinain Fishermen in Gaza
On Wednesday at dawn, Israeli gunboats opened fire at fishing boats off the shoreline in the southern part of the Gaza Strip.
A WAFA correspondent reported that an Israeli gunboat opened fire randomly at Palestinian fishing boats, preventing them from fishing freely.
In related news, Israeli war planes flying at low altitudes over the Gaza Strip, carried out an intensive mock air attack and released small hot air balloons. The Authorities consider it as a continuation of the aggressive actions targeting citizens living in the Gaza Strip.
Traditionally, many people in the Gaza Strip depend on fishing as the main source of their livelihood. However, the Israeli occupation and the illegal restrictions keep Gaza fishermen from fishing in their own waters and earning a livelihood. Therefore, fish from the Gaza Strip is sold at high prices that few people can afford, and has a negative effect on their economy.

An Israeli air strike on the Hamas-controlled and blockaded Gaza Strip has claimed the life of a Palestinian.
Another Palestinian was also wounded in the attack, a Press TV correspondent reported on Wednesday.
Israel has continued to close all border crossings to the Gaza Strip for more than 3 years. The illegal Israeli-imposed blockade on the Gaza Strip, which has been steadily tightened since June 2007, has had a disastrous impact on the humanitarian and economic situation in the coastal enclave.
Some 1.5 million people are being denied their basic rights, including freedom of movement, and their rights to appropriate living conditions, work, health and education. Poverty and unemployment rates stand at approximately 80% and 60% respectively in the Gaza Strip.

On Wednesday, Israeli navy ships opened fire at a number of Palestinian fishing boat near the Gaza shore causing damage.
Although fishermen are using areas designated for them to fish, the Israeli Navy repeatedly attacked them leading to dozens of casualties and excessive damage.

Hamas to Israel: Think twice before war
Leading member of the Hamas Political Bureau Mahmoud al-Zahar
A senior member of the Palestinian resistance movement of Hamas says Israel will pay the price in case of another offensive against the Gaza Strip.
"If Israel tries to enter Gaza, it will cost it a lot and it won't be able to achieve its goals," Mahmoud al-Zahar said from Gaza on Thursday.
"If Israel carries out another war in the future, it should think thousand of times before carrying out a war," he noted.
The Israeli military launched a deadly assault on the beleaguered Gaza Strip at the turn of 2009, killing at least 1,400 Palestinians, most of them women and children.
Hamas took control of the Gaza Strip in 2007 after it won the last Palestinian legislative elections.
Following the victory, the coastal enclave has been under Israeli siege. The 1.5 million people of Gaza are in dire need of basic humanitarian supplies.

Gaza fishermen report Israeli naval fire
GAZA (Ma%u2019an) -- Israeli war boats opened fire on Gazan fishing boats on Friday, as they were hauling their catch in the central and southern coastal districts, witnesses reported.
Officials said no injuries had been reported, while witnesses said the fire forced the small vessels leave the waters, heading north or back to shore.
An Israeli military spokeswoman said she was unable to confirm the report, but added that "when fishing boats deviate from their designated area, Israeli naval forces will fire warning shots toward them."
In September, one fisherman was killed when Israeli ships enforcing the naval blockade of the coastal enclave opened fire at his vessel.
Gaza fishermen say ever-tightening restrictions on where they can fish, frequent attacks by Israeli gunboats and an economic blockade in place since 2007 are putting more and more of them out of business.
In 2008, the fishing limit imposed by the Israeli military was cut from six nautical miles to just three. Under the Oslo peace accords, a 20 nautical mile fishing limit was set in 1995.

Peace group: Army occupies Hebron-area home
HEBRON (Ma'an) -- Israeli soldiers occupied a Palestinian home on Thursday in the Baqa'a Valley near Hebron for the third time in two months, a report from the Hebron-based Christian Peacemaker Teams said.
Family members told CPT their father collapsed when he tried to prevent the soldiers entering, and that he was taken to hospital in an ambulance. Last time soldiers occupied the house, his wife had a heart attack and died later in hospital, CPT said.
A family of 15 lives in the home, including 5 children. One son told the peace group that 17 soldiers arrived in military vehicles. A neighbor told CPT workers that he called an ambulance after hearing screams, cries and shots from the house.
International observers with the CPT said seven soldiers stationed outside the house refused to let them enter the home. A military spokesman told them the third floor and the roof of the house would be occupied for 48 hours.
Two other home were reportedly also occupied in the area, and CPT said the operation was to protect Israeli visitors to Hebron commemorating a Jewish religious event. The occupied houses provided strategic views in all directions, the report noted.
CPT observers said when they left the area, soldiers were installing floodlights and camouflage netting, and had raised an Israeli flag on the roof.

'Teenager killed in Lebanon blast'
Palestinian children walk in the playground of a school in the Beddawi camp.
A Palestinian teenager has been killed and four other people left injured in a grenade explosion in a Palestinian refugee camp in northern Lebanon, a report says.
"Thirteen-year-old Muhammed Ashkar died in hospital of injuries sustained when a hand grenade exploded outside a scrap metal yard in the Beddawi camp," five kilometers (three miles) north of the port city of Tripoli, AFP reported an unnamed Palestinian source as saying on Friday.
"We believe the owner of the yard was shifting through his metal, found the grenade and tossed it outside where the children were standing," he added.
Among the injured were a 14-year-old boy in critical condition and a 23-year-old woman, the source went on to say.
Palestinian security forces arrested the owner and are holding him for questioning, he further explained.
The Lebanese army does not enter the country's 12 camps, leaving security inside in the hands of Palestinians.
The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian Refugees estimates that Lebanon today houses 400,000 Palestinians, while Lebanese officials estimate a figure of 300,000.
The majority of the Palestinian refugees live in the overpopulated camps in Lebanon.
